Panasonic Toughpad FZ A1 Fully Rugged Android Tablet
Panasonic has announced improved version of previously announced Panasonic Toughpad FZ rugged tablet called ToughPad FZ-A1 is the world’s most secure fully rugged specially designed for work in extreme environment, emergency services and construction field, freeze proof -10 to 50 degree Celsius, protect from 1.2 meter drops, sealed against water and dust proof, multi-touch anti-glare high brightness screen and digitizer daylight readable screen and security features such as Marvell hardware assisted storage encryption, AuthenTec Mobile Security and Marvell Trusted Boot.

The Panasonic Toughpad A1 has Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, 1.2GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage with microSDHC card slot, 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch screen display with 1024 x 768 pixels resolution, 500 cd/m2 brightness with ambient light sensor, 5-mega pixels rear auto focus camera with flash and 2-mega pixels front facing camera.
The Panasonic FZ-A1 has optional SIM card slot for 3G mobile broadband connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS navigation, microUSB 2.0 and microHDMI port, dimension 266.3 x 212 x 17.5 mm, weight 993 grams and 4590mAh Li-Ion battery provides up to 10 hours of use.
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A1 will be available from end of January 2013 but now available to buy in Australiaat price of $1,499.
